What we look for
A valid state contractor’s license. Licensing requirements vary by state. A general contractor license or a patio-enclosure-related license typically qualifies. Not sure if yours does? Contact our team and we’ll confirm.
A valid business license.
Installation capability. Crews ready to install 4K Aluminum systems to our standards.
Availability in your region. We onboard a limited number of contractors in each region.

Contractor questions
How do I become a 4K Certified Contractor, and what are the requirements?
Licensing requirements vary by state. In most cases, a general contractor license or a patio-enclosure-related license qualifies. If you're unsure whether your license meets the requirements, contact our team and we'll confirm for your situation.
Is there a cost to become certified, or any minimum order or volume requirements?
Certification and onboarding are free. We do require new contractors to purchase a professional sales kit. Opening an account includes a one-time onboarding process with a product orientation, and every applicant goes through a vetting process so our network includes only legitimate, qualified contractors.
How do I place orders, and how does the contractor ordering portal work?
All orders are placed through our contractor portal. You'll receive portal access once your account is opened with one of our locations.
What are typical lead times, and do you deliver or is it will-call pickup?
Lead times depend on inventory, and in-stock orders are often ready with little to no wait. We offer will-call pickup at our locations, and nationwide delivery is available at the contractor's expense.
Do you provide engineering and permit support for my projects?
Because 4K Aluminum products are highly customizable, we recommend site-specific engineering for every project. Our engineering partners are listed on our Engineering page. Obtaining permits is the contractor's responsibility.
Is training provided on installing 4K Aluminum systems?
Yes. A product orientation is part of opening your account. Once approved, you'll also have access to installation guides and additional technical resources.
What finishes and colors are available, and can I order custom colors?
Our standard colors are Espresso, Black, Adobe Tan, Apollo Grey, and Quartz White. Custom colors are sometimes possible, but 4K Aluminum does not supply the powder coat paint for custom orders, and custom colors are not covered by any 4K Aluminum finish warranty. Contact our team to discuss your project.
Do you offer financing or payment terms for contractors?
4K Aluminum does not generally offer financing or payment terms. For commercial projects, we've partnered with Billd to provide short-term material financing to help get your project started.
Will 4K Aluminum refer homeowner leads to certified contractors in my area?
Yes. We regularly refer homeowners to authorized 4K Aluminum contractors in their area.
How do I register a warranty for a customer's project, and how are warranty claims handled?
Warranties must be registered online within 90 days of installation using the original 4K Aluminum invoice number issued to the installing contractor. Claims must be submitted in writing, with proof of purchase, within 7 days of discovering the defect. Full details are on our Warranty Information page.
